The Ricrio estate is near Casale Marittimo. Best airports to fly into are Pisa (PSA) within a 1-hour drive and Rome (FCO) within a 3-hour drive. Rental cars are available at both airports - and are very familiar working with American visitors. Firenze (FLR) is a smaller airport within a 2-hour drive. Milano Malpensa (MXP) has good international flights, though a longer 4.5-hour drive.

Remember to check your passport validity. Six months validity recommended, at least 3 months validity beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen area (source travel.state.gov).
